Where to find gender identity
in teaching materials
External Providers
Many schools use external / third party providers to deliver sex & consent education programs which are embedded with gender identity
The outsourcing of sex & consent education programs has created an industry that recruits young, inexperienced and unqualified people to teach your children about relationships and sexuality
Job ads posted by these organisations show:
Applicants need to be “18+ years old” – but “not at school“
“youthful and relatable” is a key selection criteria
Neither teaching qualifications or experience working with young people are key selection criteria
“This is an extremely unique opportunity to … spark generational change“
“Are you passionate about creating positive social change?”
Most external providers will not allow you to see the material they show to your child.

Steps to take to protect your child from external / third party programs
Find out who the provider is and look at their website
Ask to see the specific materials that your child will see (not the sanitised parent information typically offered)
If schools says it is copyright ask to view at school
If school won’t facilitate your access to view the materials your child will be presented with, use our template letters to withdraw your child from these sessions
If you view the materials and have concerns about them, use our template letters to withdraw your child from these sessions
