There is a whole industry of groups, often staffed by social activists, targetting teachers. There is pressure to make gender education training mandatory for all teachers.
Professional development of teachers
Schools often outsource the professional development and training of their staff to the litany of groups who have sprung up to train teachers in areas of Childsafe, Respectful Relationships, diversity programs and the like.

Push for Mandatory Teacher Training
There is a strong push for Respectful Relationship Education training to be mandatory for all teachers.
